If you are looking for a humane way to trap/capture little critters that may be in your home or on your property, then this is perfect for you and your family. This will not harm the mouse/squirrel/chipmunk/shrew at all, they will just walk in to get the food/snack and then the steel door will secure behind them. You will have to take the trap with the rodent to an area which you choose to let them go; forest or wooded area is best. Ideally do not release them within close proximity to your home or they will return. If you have ever used the other styles of non humane traps then you know how terrible and gross those are, I can’t even stomach the thought of the other styles. I wanted to get this set before winter as we have a storage area under our house and we found a little squirrel in there last winter and we had no idea how to get it out, but with this Grandpa Gus’s Live Critter Catcher we will not have that concern this year. Made of very strong and durable plastic the rodent will be securely held until you are able to relocate them to a more rodent friendly area. Good pricing for such a non invasive and humane way to deal with your rodent issues and I recommend this great product.
